The 1797 penny is nicknamed a " cartwheel" a very collectible coin, in that condition worth about $25-$50 it was only minted in 1797 The two pence 1797 copper coin is even large than the penny lol

Here in the UK, its still possible to bank those Crowns at a Post Office They are worth 25p each face value Its crazy to think that the 2828 grams of cupronickel they are made with is probably worth more than the face value of the coin These coins generally didn't have the 25p face value stamped on them The Diana/Charles Crown was the last 25p "Crown" struck Even in 1981, the coin was just too big for the miserable face value, so the next Crown struck in 1990 had a new, and much increased, face value of five pounds sterling This new face value was stamped on the Crown coin, and has been sincebrbr🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧

I'm so jealous of that Cartwheel Penny! That wieghs the same as a Mars bar and its worth about £50 so probs like 55 -60 US dollarsbrbrAs Brit I find it funny when we are considered Foreign because I see all English Speaking people as not foreign, I feel much more in common with an American, Candian or Ozzy than any other European country 👍🙂
