Thanks for this video I wanted to compare the wide view on these "older" model action cameras for a cheaper upgrade as I currently have the Hero 10 Having issues with it being cold and not turning on, or overheating at high framerates in indoor 70-80F environmentsbrbrI think the better battery and cooling, backwards/forwards compatibility, magnetic quick release, wider horizontal and vertical view, are key features that make the Action 4 the better camera for me

Will never buy another GoPro, it is unreliable, over heats and my last one’s screen went blank and no matter how much I have tried to get it repaired, no-one has been able to repair it Expensive piece of electronic junk I have the original osmo which works perfectly, thinking of getting the action 4, only question, can it connect to the tft on my triumph rally pro like the GoPro could (when it actually worked)

i never realized how subjective what camera looks good can be to me the obvious choice in the first clip is the gopro sure its darker but to me the sunset and the sky look 10x better, as in i wouldnt even consider the dji for a second of course theres more factors to decide a camera than just that first clip but its just fascinating kinda thought of camera quality as something that has a "right" answer before

My first Action 4 had the same compartment door issue In fact both doors came off on my first Action 4 And since you have the same issue it has to be a quality control issue I have two Action 4 camera's and the second one does not have the sliding door issues I am certain there are likely a few others that may have had the same problem I bought my first one when the product was introduced, something I rarely do, due to costs and unknown technical issues that are found in the first products I just purchased the second one about two months ago

Great video & helped me lots I decided to go with the GoPro Creator edition as the colours outdoor just seem to Pop more than the dji plus by the time you add up all the extras you would need for the dji to get the same as the GoPro Creator edition at time of posting would have cost me more as GoPro had Easter deal on 👍 just wish GoPro had a better charging pod for the spare batteries like you pointed out its not very good Anyhow thanks again 👍

You didn't mention the awful battery life on the GoPro and the fact that after fully charging the battery (even if it's not in the cam) it depletes really fast and it takes ages to recharge also the dji mic 2 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth no cable or dongle needed, also the front screen is a touch screen on the action 4 the magnetic attachment also works in vertical mode too and the menu system is much easier to use also gopro apps suck they almost never work, the combo kit you get with the action 4 also comes with 3 batteries and a charging case plus a cage to allow magnetic vertical mounting plus on Amazon in the UK the dji cam costs £2100 less than the gopro PS I own the gopro 11 and yes it's good but I much prefer the action 4, just saying !

if you like the colors better on the gopro, you can just color grade it If the input of the dji is better (more accurate), why would you pick gopro? You can still color grade it in post

There is no question the DJI is the better camera There is no substitute for the large image sensor No problem to add warmth in post production Hopefully next version GoPro create amazing new tech But this round is DJI

I'm sure dji is a nice camera but if u want a durable point and shoot camera gopro is good, it is strong durable and always ready for action no flip screens and mics and magnets that can easily break and fall off, I need simplicity and don't need to worry about breaking stuff My gopro are always in a cage and nothing has ever broken and has stood up to hard action But I'm sure Dji camera looks good and maybe for some people it would be good but for durability Gopro is the one
