 Thank You for your videos Ms Kampfer It is now 2025 and I want to do bookkeeping for a small catering company that uses the Profit First Method There are several bank accounts set up at three banks All revenue goes into the Operating Expense (OpEx) checking account Percentages of money are transferred from the Operating Expense (OpEx) checking account to the Income, Profit, Owner's Pay, and Tax accounts What is the best way to set this system up? Do these transfers have to be done manually each month or can it be done automatically in QuickBooks Online?

 I like the transfer only thing is I haven't used it because my checking is showing in the red or negative but not on my mobile phone appSo I am scared to transfer and it take it from my quickbooks checking account

 I tried harder and the TRANSFER was fastest way, what I did is Journal Entry, is that ok?

 I am new to all this and want to know Does this just record in quick books or does it actually effect the actual bank For example if I got to my online banking page will I see the transfer or do I need to do it in other locations?

 Thanks for this easy-to-understand tutorial I did a transfer and match but the money doubled in the other bank that I transferred to One deposit is showing R and the other transfer is showing a C What did I do wrong?

 I need to write an actual check because I'm transferring funds between banks, not just accounts On the 'checks' page, there's nothing in the Category or Item columns for transfers Please advise Thanks!

 Hi Candus, this video was so helpful thanks!!! How would you go about recording a transfer from your business checking account that is tied to quickbooks to a personal checking account that is not tied because its not for the business? Hopefully this makes sense Subscribed!!!
