If You register a song by yourself in BMI You have 200 od royalties, if register by the BS publishing, Your 200 from BMI splits by BMI 100 and 100 goes to SMP

I did about 16 songs for an artist with Warner Brothers… I was 20 and just excited to have my first break Signed away rights for 2 cents per record 😂 granted, the artist was taking care of me on the back end cause I was an in house producer, but MAN!
