so does your money return after a crash rises back if you waited for a rise instead of withdrawing remains, for example, 1000 invested, crash occurs, lose 500 , leave the remaining 500, after a month or more, market rises again , does the lost 500 come back again with the returns coming with the rise in market or its only your 500 left that multiplies by percentage of market rise ? that is 1000 multiplies or just the 500 multiplies I'm new to this things so might be a bit confusing

Great video Elena! One thing to note about Roth IRA is that yes you can withdraw your contributions before 595 years old without penalty 🎉 it’s just your earnings/gains that are locked up with a fee if you choose to withdraw early
