You get charged the conversion fee on purchase as well though so all US sales to your CAD currency etsy is getting charged 25

Printify charges 999USD for a shirt to be shipped, plus 1594USD for the shirt, and the printer is a Canadian printer Can you give some insight as to why this occurs, and why are the costs so high, compared to USA sellersespecially using a CAN printer? thanks i`m in england i always worried about change from dollars to pounds, had my shop 11 yrs, been serious about it for 8 yrs,but in the end it will be just less confusing ! I suppose i was worried it might show my shop less in usa somehow?! but anyway i decided to change it, too much of a headache to keep thinking in dollars

I was wondering if I am using the current exchange rate to figure out my Canadian prices, will I have to go and change all my prices if the dollar makes a big move up or down? Seems like a huge hassle if you have a lot of listings

Etsy has a much higher exchange rate than the official rate, so your buyers in a foreign country are having to pay way more than if they just paid with a credit card in the original currency, and I'm guessing that's another way Etsy makes more money

Kind of a bit off topic Do you find that Canadian Etsy shops have a bit of a disadvantage to sell to the US? Since Etsy has the filter system Most of my products I have printed in the States, so I can offer delivery from the US but in my shop it says it delivers from Canada, even though I have it in my shipping profile delivered from the States

I just wish etsy would allow depositing into a US bank account even if it is in canada (I have this with another business I have, and i get monthly deposits in US Funds to this account with no problems or conversions

Hello Thank you for this video I have a complicated question My shop is in Canadian dollar I sell items using a Print on Demand company For example, the shipping cost for my item on Printify is a flat rate of US $499 That's what the customer pays on Etsy and that's what's I see on the receipt after a sale Does Etsy convert this shipping cost to Canadian? which would make $ 657 CAD for shipping Looks like Etsy charges me $ 499 US without making the conversionbrI can't understand and I wonder if you know ?
