People complain about a lack of quips or puns or how hes a highschool senior instead of a junior but These movies captured the essense of spiderman Tobey IS spiderman not because of comic accuracy or fancy cgi Hes spiderman because these movies captured the heart of what the character Peter Parker and Spiderman really is so perfectly As goofy as they could be at time Spider-man 2002 is for me the perfect Spider-man movie It wasnt trying to hit a check box of things It wasnt a phoned it product It was a timeless movie that told a story of its own while still perfectly capturing the essence and heart of what and who spider-man is
