i always wondered why the first castle bothered me so much not necessarily in a bad way, but something always felt off and the reason ended up being that because of the tight spaces and very narrow jumps, there was barely any room for flips, or even running so, mario was deathly silent for the majority of the castle

Kind of disappointing the bowser fights in NSMBW and NSMB2 have the same music and sound effects The music is good, but it’s reused And the gimmick is really similar In NSMBU, is more so a mix of DS (with Bowser Jr) and the giant bowser fights, but an actual fight The middle two entries are just… Fakeout fight You don’t get to peach Magic turns bowser big And switch at the end

NSMB 1 - might be the best castle level in the series, but worst final boss in the series brbrNSMB WII - definitely the worst castle level in the series, but best final boss in the series brbrNSMB2 - it has a very cool level gimmick and a solid final boss brbrNSMBU - very lackluster level design, but a very awesome final boss
