Am I the only one who just can understand her but when other persons speak I feel that I just can't? Comment from : @redvelvetqueendom1303 |

I very much appreciate you saying that different methods work for different people It may seem like an obvious thing to say, but it rarely is There are too many people online insisting they know the bonly/b method or the bcorrect/b method I'm sure that's great for views I know a lot of people like me who are new to their language learning journey (2 years) are searching Now if someone says they know bthe/b method, I don't watch it Comment from : @TWolf317 |

The best method is the one that keeps you ticking along for years, doesn't matter how efficient and awesome your plan is if after 3 months you dead burnt out If you like comprehensible input and conversation exchange do that, if you like reading a movies, do that, if you like grammar do that, if duolingo is the only thing keeping you learning a language its better than nothing at all, will you progress vary by method? sure but ultimately the only way progress occurs is through action Comment from : @reef6826 |

I also used to learn one word at a time, and now I learn in sentences if I can I mostly aim for understanding rather than memorization unless the sentence is very useful Comment from : @jamiececilielange5249 |

I’m always experimenting I really dislike speaking as a beginner because it’s so humiliating I mean humbling I’m currently using Google translate to read books in Korean sentence by sentence on LingQ I have to press a button to translate each sentence but otherwise it’s quite smooth and I can save vocabulary easily Comment from : @paulwalther5237 |

Hiii Lindie, could you talk about language guilt and letting go of languages? I'd love to hear other's thoughts on here about that There's only so many hours in a dayand I want to be able to enjoy my languages rather than feel obligation to study something i started in the past brIn other words how DO you decide what to focus on and not feel terrible for getting rid of other languages? i think it's difficult to find a method I'm learning English on my own and I'm my own coach I try to change my way to learn English but I think the best method is practicing output as much as possible but it's a challenge to find someone who like what you like English is a buisness And I think English people are to close to share their knowledge with others it's for this reason I walk alone and one day I'll reach my goal by my myself even if I make mistakes I did the same things with Spanish I'm so glad I don't care I keep learning I increase my self-esteem And I become stronger I talk to myself in front of the mirror And it's helpful for me I pray the true God to help me and he does last time I found a diccionary HARRAP s in the garden with audio listening English Atlas this world is selfish and I'm walking alone see you soon GOD bless you RICHARD Comment from : @richardalventoza6424 |

Such a great vid! I started learning another language, but ended up hitting a brick wall…HARD! What I was “supposed to be doing” was NOT working for me anymore & try as I might, I couldn’t convince myself to do it anymore brAbout a week ago, I decided to start doing it MY way and to start learning phrases rather than individual words…despite what I was being told brIt’s got me excited again!I’m seeing progress again!brbrNow, to hear you validate all of this… That there is more than one way to learn another language, and that not everyone is fully fluent in 6 weeks Your honesty is most inspiring! Thank you!💖 Comment from : @brendalu4665 |

The most important thing in language learning is to figure out how to learn it I've spent years trying to figure out what works for me the best As you've said, it's a long journey of constant trial and error And each language can require a different method, too Comment from : @bzylarisa |

After trying two very different methods for my first two languages, I think I'm finally figuring the method I like with language number 3 I'd definitely recommend trying a method out for a few weeks rather than a whole language (it's much faster lol) Comment from : @azriel3921 |

I really wanna relearn my mother tongue again Comment from : @galaxy_mooncat779 |

Learning a language by memorising words alone from things like Flashcards, doesn't work not only for you But pretty much anyone who does this A lot of people say we have been learning a language over an year now and can't even string simple sentences, when you see how they actually learn, all they do is learning vocab from flashcards mainly and think it will somehow magically work In fact, I don't even use flashcards anymore in my learning, flashcards are only good in very end of learning a new language, when its already settled in your head but you want to fill in the blanks like names of all fruits, names of office accessories etc Comment from : @AdamYLM |

Thank you very much!brJust one single method that I am following: brI try to make the best out of a YouTube video that I watch in order to improve in my target language This could be by sharing my thoughts in form of a simple comment This could be by writing down the expressions I want to focus on - directly in the comments as well (and also giving the time stamps) Discussing about a specific video is much harder because you need to find like-minded people first or let's say people who 1 like the same videos and 2 want to practice with you Of course, you could just record yourself and give your 2 cents about a vidceo that you've watched brbrThanks again for the video and keep it going!brCheers, Daniel Comment from : @MyFluentPodcast |

Yes ate Lindie😂brIf only you make languages like you said in the video 😂 Comment from : @dalubwikaan161 |
