So, I am dyslexic I never caught it because it's not in reading I love to read, and the letters never really move around for me (I lose my line quite a bit, though, and sometimes my OCD makes me read sections or words multiple times or scroll up and down past a particular bit to get it just right)brbrI always wrote my a's and 3's backwards in second grade, and confused my b's and d's and p's and q's I was in second grade, for heaven's sake, and rather good at spelling, if you ignored the confusion, so that slipped Third and fourth grade, it lessened a bit but still continued, but that was online school Almost everything was typed It really showed itself in fifth and sixth grade, but I learned to catch my mistakes Now, in seventh grade, I still struggle with mixing them upbrbrI'm still good with spelling, though, so I've got that going for me But I'm in Algebra II, and I struggle with my times tables of 6, 7, and 8 And it was even worse in years previous In the sixth grade, I still had to count on my fingers And I'm horrible at subtraction I'm doing trigonometry, and complex and imaginary numbers, and factoring polynomials, and so much more, and I still have to use my fingers to subtract 58 from 93 Or scratch paper I was far off the mark when repeating the numbers back in reverse order, too HorriblebrbrI've got five indicators

Well maybe my third grade teacher was right 😐 i got 7/9 In all seriousness, ive genuinely suspected for a long time I'm not sure what pursuing a diagnosis as an adult would do for me though brbrI do remember talking about it with a psychologist once, when i was a kid - i said that i didn't actually see words move around I'd look in one spot, and there would be a word, but when i look back again, its not there anymore So i dont actually see them move, they just sneak around when im not looking But the doctor was clueless so idk 🤷‍♀️brbrIts crazy though, cause im a really a fast reader And im pretty good at math But i'd frustrate my teachers cause i had so many silly workarounds to deal with letters and numbers

Im sure i don't have dyslexia, but I scored an 8 Im terrible with math/numbers, so I git the number questions wrong I have terrible spacial recognition, so i haveva hard tine reversing left and right in a mirror image, so I git that all mesed up And, I still can't figure out how worked turn's into worst, or how paste turns into paint I also can't figure out how ant if this is supposed tell me if I get letters mixed uo when I read I don't by the way, so I'm thinking this test is bogus, but it was fun to check it out

I feel like a lot of these have huge false positives if you have ADHD too though The only one I didn't struggle with involved replacing letters or the b/d stuff (if done mentally)

I'm not dyslexic and I got 0/9 I was expecting to maybe get 1 or 2 Sometimes I do say left when I mean right (or vice versa), but I didn't confuse them on this test

I am dyslexic and all through my schooling I needed assistance from an in school tutor ( class room specialized with kids who have this condition ) Math was very hard for me, and I often felt very frustrated I had to study extra hard to do well in school I was allowed to take tests under the guidance of a tutor I felt a little stigmatized When I studied for tests it took me a long time to feel confident that I would pass I literally memorized as much as I could I spent needless hours doing that I studied hard but I wasn't studying " smart " or efficiently It was not until 12th grade that I started doing really well I went to University as received my Masters degree from Boston University My mom was always there to help me with my homework and I know she sometimes worked as hard as I did She was always there when I needed her I love you mom so much !!

I knew I’m dyslexic but this was eye opening to do this test 6,7,8 times tables were hell for me at school This test now explains why The numbers in reverse order test I went “WHAT” at my screen I just couldn’t do it And the letter replacement in the middle I just couldn’t do Yet I could read the months backwards as I was imagining my iPhone calendar in my head, and reading backwards through the months I could visualise it in my brain So strange how our brains work

i took this “test” bc for a while now i’ve suspected i’ve had dyslexia i got 8/9 i don’t know anyone in my family who has dyslexia i’m a freshman in high school and i still struggle reading and when i read aloud people say i was saying words that weren’t even on the paper it’s so embarrassing and frustrating ugh i also still struggle with basic math like subtraction, division, multiplication and so on ive been doing pre algebra for 3 years now and its still sorta hard

Look men I have dislexia but I never have problem with left and rightbrbrMost off the difficulty's I have it's read and writing ✍🏻brbrAnd Yes in some off the challenge I have done it correctly like tell the number on reverse order but this mostly because I don't see the numbers and only heard thembrbrAlso in make the 44 - 13 wrong but only because I sat down though about the answerbrbrMy point is that many off the testing on this video it be answered correctly if give my more time and have written on paper instead off have to do those in voice

I just took this test for fun, and was surprised how much trouble I had answering some of these questions Could this be an indicator that I'm dyslexic? My brother had shown more obvious signs of dyslexia when he was a kid, so I guess I have a probability of having it too I am not aware of any of my parents been dyslexic though :/ never really noticed any signs
