Or get a standard def tapeless camcorder from 2006-2010 that was built to record to an SD card or HDD for less than $50 Same retro quality, smaller build, one battery, and cheaper

Don’t like how it destroys the genuine quality of a hi 8 tape When it’s rendered digital it’s not physically converted It records just the screen of the camcorder and the results come out as a shitty 360p video Used a fire cable to usbc and keep the grainy quality
