I have started a YT as well help me process my grief from my son I know it'll take a while Also side hustles I do are doing Surveys on Prolific I've gotten paid sometimes 4 to $30 for one survey I also use Cloud research as well I look for stuff I can do around doctors appointments, so for me to have a "conventional" job is hard I love watching these videos that talk about different side hustles people can do

Uber and Door Dash are no longer good Since Dec 2024 (with Uber) you are expected to take 70 of the high mile low paying deliveries that come up They demoted my status from 100 satisfaction rate, Diamond driver to nothing I refuse to deliver if people don't tip to cover my time and miles I'm putting on my car

I set up a Medical Billing company that I never got off the ground I work alot of hours for my 9-5 in a salaried managerial position and need some more income to pay off my debt I spent alot of money several years back, have a beautiful website and all but no clients AND I think medical doctors are moving from their own individual practices anymore to join medical groups so this may have been a very big waste of money😢

I signed up with several temp agencies for gig work at the convention center and hotels These are conventions and events Some of the tasks are registration, room monitoring, directional, ushering, etc I work with a lot of seniors, but not all, who are supplementing their social security I average 1K per month

Another side gig I have is face painting for birthday parties and festivals I make $100/hr at large event plus tips At small parties I make $60/hr YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PAINT FACES I just small stencils like they use for temporary tatoos and stencil with a rainbow face paint It makes every one happy and no long lines because I use the stencils

Great information I had heard from someone that the US government has discouraged citizens from having side hustles as of January of this year If that is the case, I think it is bull, and all they want to do is for us to report and pay lots of taxes If they would bring down the cost of stuff, including rent, maybe some of us will do not have to take on a second or third job Keep doing what you do Maybe one day they will listen to us

I have been doing eBay sales for a while now here in the US And I can say that it is a very painfully slow process I have talked with several others and the only one who seems to be actually making anything even close to usable income is a woman who is actually teaching others how to sell on eBay and how to set up their eBay sales accounts It also requires you to keep all of those things that you would really like to get rid of so you’ll have to have space to store the stuff that you’re trying to downsize The income that you make from eBay sales is also taxable and reported to the IRS so there is some bookkeeping involved as well I don’t want to discourage anyone from trying it because if you have hot ticket items, it can be a money maker, however, people need to know that it’s not quite as easy as it looks
