its a shame you didn't mention the 'Made In China' Player Series line when Fender went to China instead of Mexico around 2012 I own the Strat and the Jazzmaster from that line They're two of the best guitars i've ever owned/played and have Fender, not Squier on the headstock ;) Comment from : @hoobyonthebeat |

Fender designed the guitar with the ashtray cover but players would uninstall it because the sound was inferior when installed The jack on a Tele is confounding because Leo acknowledged it was a bad design by replacing it on EVERY OTHER instrument he never sold at Fender Fender Telecasters to this day are not tour ready until the buyer fixes that heap Yet Leo never used that inherently bad design on any MusicMan or G&L He knew it was a functional design flaw Un-angled toggle switch orientation: Classic looks, much less comfortable than angled Strat toggle switch And I could go on Although I love the Tele, it's hardly a "perfect" design It was designed to be an inexpensive, assembly-line product that could be manufactured by less-trained workers It can be a great guitar, but not perfect Comment from : @qwe1231 |

Tip from a old man , buy the best used guitar you can , not the worst new guitar ie I only buy used USA Fenders they have better resale value I have got guitars now I bought years ago they are worth 4 times what I paid for them I was buying guitars that were 15 to 16 years old when I bought them most of them were mint condition & still are in great condition I have bought new guitars cos I wanted a particular model but as soon as you get them home you have lost a ton of money if you are happy with that great But even now there are some great bargains Comment from : @trevorclarey3336 |

I have the Vintera 2 MIM Tele 725 radius Fiesta Red The only thing I don’t like are the ridges along the sides with the 3 brass saddles The ridges on the bridge plate makes strumming hard ifyou have big hands, I wish there was a flat bridge that doesn’t beat up your hand I love the tone though I have an off brand Strat that I just had two Almico 5 humbuckers put in the bridge and neck with a double ceramic magnet single coil in the middle and it sounds really good I gave my granddaughter a LesPaul Special 2 Epiphone with 2 soapbar P90s Comment from : @Bbba724 |

Followed the pro tip Got the Ultra Luxe Floyd rose Telecaster on Black Friday with a 20 discount because the retailer has to push the Ultra II For someone who never played a tele and came from super strata, what surprised me is the sound Don’t know if it’s the pickups with the Floyd rose bridge but it’s brighter than my humbucker equipped guitars (which are all active pickups) It’s brighter and more punchy than my Ibanez Prestige AZ It does punch through a mid because there’s a high end clarity there Comment from : @Frahmans5081 |
