I have said it my whole life, and just watched a video of Kevin Samuel's saying the same Being a waiter was the best thing he could've done at a young age, teaches you a lot of skills, you can get cash tips, and there's upward movement if it's something you're looking for you can work at chain restaurants and make 6 figures as a GM for a Larry's Steakhouse, Fleming, etc

The opportunities in the trades are endless, it takes 3-5 years to complete an apprenticeship and an average of 7 years in your field to be experienced enough for leadership (on average) there's guys that only work 40hrs a week and do side work that make 100k a year or more and if you go into leadership the potential to make 150k or more is possible if you can run jobs efficiently

I’m 24 just started with a new tile and stone company not to long ago living my moms still but listening to Kevin has motivated me to work harder than I ever have I’m up at 3:30 ready to get it I started with this company just over 2 months at $18 an hour and have busted my ass and shown them I can get it done I’m at $22 an hour now Working on getting the 60 70 weeks that’s completely new to me because sometimes I’ll be on my knees tiling these shower floors/ curbs / and floors for 9 hours I can’t move afterwards plus I messed up my back framing houses out of HS but I’m still trying to get more motivated to try and get those crazy high hours in the week so I can make it happen let’s go boys

Facts, I work 2 jobs, 16 hrs shifts, get two days off throughout the week Making between 50-60k a year Wouldn't have took this route but I couldn't gonintonmy career at the time because of fatal accident that set me back physically Still seeing doctors and stuff Syill in the healing process I'm grateful Wne reform dpong hard labor to have to settle for two security jobs which is less labor but takes up more of my time and is more money but less benefits When I fully recover I will continue this but cant wait to go into making 100k a year which is what my career would offer me I just gotta stay positive Its harder now cuz I'm 31, injuries take longer to heal as you get older so that stuff kind of bothers me But I'm blessed Thank you Kevin for keeping it real
