The thing is I feel whatever you believe your price is worth selling that’s what it’s worth, if a person doesn’t create or sell much doesn’t dictate what he or she thinks the price of the piece should be At the end of the day there’s always someone who wants to buy your art

I went to a coffee shop that has art for sale, there was a painting literally showing no skill or mastery, something that looked like their first or second painting and they were trying to sell it at $1,400 brbrI guest that paint and canvas cost money, but why would I want to hang your practice on my wall? Some people don’t have any grasp of reality

I'd be interested on your take on perceived value and telling people your work is valuable by pricing it accordingly brbrIf you have years of experience as an artist (a decade or more), are a prolific painter, and your work is consistent, but you dont have a precedent of sales, as in none? I live in a very remote canadian small town and have no access to galleries or even a decent market/industry in Canada, how does an artist in a situation like this decide on pricing and find buyers? Every piece has to transported hours away just to ship it or show itWhat is your view on value, in a situation similar to my own?
