I agree with this except with the no demo trading at all I think a mixture of both small positions and demo is beneficial for new traders so they can learn their strategy without losing money whilst also dipping their toes in psychology

I'm very confused You said you wouldn't try trading a $20 account to a $2000 But you would try trading at the lowest amount deposit available Some brokers allow $5 deposits So why not try to start fixing myself for growth with just that $20 to $2000 from early out Instead of just wasting the money thinking its not possible

Get funded? wait, lets say they give you $100,000 and you can lose a maximum of $5000 before your account is closed, that means you would need to trade as if you had a $5000 account and not a $100,000 account, so if that's the case, just save up $5000 and go trade with your own money
