Another good tip that I found was that writing a short summary in the margins of whatever book you read after every paragraph is a good way of retaining information brbrHelped me a lot throughout college

Less is more My gf is so fast at reading, yet she doesn't remember a lot She can read a whole ass 300 pages book in two days, I take a whole month For university, I told her to do sum ups of the things she studied and not rushnow she's getting better grades than I do with my own system lol

Yep, another thing I think helps is annotating your reading material in a similar fashion: by connecting the new information with stuff you already know, and even with your personal experiences or comments
