One of my relatives had stashed away about $500 (value in 1974) of Swiss Francs in cash Found them in his stuff about 2015 Found out that in January 2000 the notes became worthless (According to the Swiss Consulate) Seems they redesigned their money and ceased honoring pre-1980 notes So much for super safe and stable Swiss Francs
