Maybe somebody already mentioned this but a HUGE benefit of the HSA is if you do not use it for health expenses, when you turn 65 you can use it on ANYTHING It will be taxed if you're not using it on medical expenses, I believe, but still! Note, this isn't the same as an FSA Also, pay attention because your employer may also offer some type of a match for HSA!! Comment from : @jantown

Great video! just as an FYI, do not put money into a SEP IRA if you’re doing a back door Roth IRA This is because it’s going to screw up the pro rata rules for the backdoor Roth IRA so you should be doing a solo 401(k) instead as long as there’s nobody working for you in the business! Another great video, but two points worth noting: 1) Solo 401(k) generally much better than a SEP IRA for many reasons Also you can do a Roth Solo 401(k) or a Roth SEP IRA if you prefer those after tax gains 2) ETFs are better than Mutual Funds for tax reasons In any event, THANK YOU for sharing and for your transparency! Hey @TaylorBell if you want a suggestion for another type of retirement account to look into as a self-employed content creator besides the SEP, you should check out the Solo401K, I think for your purposes it might be a better option than the SEP, but of course do your research Great video, keep up the good work and best of luck in all your future endeavors! The ETF I would recommend over VOO or SWPPX is VT(not to be confused with VTI), because you'd have more fully diversified total market exposure The opportunity cost loss of only sticking to the S&P500 outweighs the slightly higher 007 MER of VT because you're missing out on some mid cap and small cap as well as international and emerging markets Comment from : @thecorrectoification
