We have various fund raisers through the year - for our Grade 7 farewell fund raiser - we sell valentines ribbons, a car wash at our market day, PJ and hot chocolate day, Valentines dance, etc In addition each teacher is given a date to host a cake sale The children in the teachers registered class bring different delicious goodies to sell on the day The money from the cake sale goes towards the teachers classroom - anything the teacher needs for her classroom eg posters, new dictionaries, toys or games will come from the cake sale money We enjoy having our own "budget" per year to spend on anything we feel we need We host a market day - the children make things to sell or create a game for the other children to play A percentage of their profit is paid to the school The secret of fun raising for a school - is that is mustn't become a "chore" for the teachers The teachers and the children need to have fun doing the event Comment from : @msobbes2356 |
