@Caleb_Denison Here is my viewing consumption, would I be okay to get an OLED?br1 I don't watch sports or the news at all br2 My tv is used every day from the time I wake up till the time I go to bed as I have kids, only time it is turned off is when we leave the house, or when it is bed time br3 I game 4-8 hours a day if I can, only happens on my days off from work br4 For movies and shows I watch Netflix, amazon, crunchyroll, Hulu, along with Disney plus That is what I do the rest of the time when not gaming, especially shows for kids

If your tv doesn’t have enough HDMI 21 ports, you can buy a HDMI Switcher that will allow you to split 1-HDMI Input into 2 or more inputs You can only play 1 game system at a time so there perfect and cheaper than buying a new tv just because your limited on HDMI 21 ports

144Hz should be the minimum It gives your tv extra headroom when playing 120Hz Which in turn allows the tv’s picture to blissfully display the quality

this comment is for all the casual gamers on ps5 you dont need 120 hertz even though a lot of tvs have it now a days there are only a handful of games that even do 120 fps and when they do they take so much detail out of the game they look awful, the except i have played is spiderman which with vrr on would hit 100 fps developers sadly just keep focusing on game scope and object fidelity and even when spiderman was running in vrr my eye couldnt tell the difference between 60 and 100 most eveyone alive can see the difference between 30 and 60, but anything above that is hard for people who are casual hope this helps someone just get a tv that is at least 60hertz with great color and contrast

Not sure if it’s been stated or not But you’re at least partially incorrect about having to sacrifice one of the HDMI 21 ports if you wish to use a soundbar or receiver with ARC or eARCbrbrFor instance… I have an OLED Sony Bravia with two HDMI 21 ports I can easily connect a Sony soundbar or receiver with HDMI 21 inputs

I didn’t have good luck with my Samsung I had 5 yrs total warranty coverage and the left side went dim about 6 1/2 yrs in I got the tcl qm7 now hopefully it lasts longer than the Samsung
