Reasons why we don’t hear a difference:brbr1 Amplifier and maybe pedals are the same for both of them and quite expensive, which helps cheap guitar to sound finebrbr2 He himself is so skilled that cheap and bad constructed guitar doesn’t bother his tone or playing quality For an average guitarist, cheap one would be muuch harder to play onbrbr3 The difference in price doesn’t resemble only sound, but the “Legendarinness” of the les paul and future endurance ofc cheaper guitar will have problems sooner and much frequently ❤

An expensive guitar doesn’t make you play or sound better But it does make you want to practice more I play a $3,000 Steinberger through a $5,000 Soldano But I’ve also got a guitar that was originally a Charvel but the only thing on it left is the body Changed the neck and added EMG pickups In total I have about $800 in that guitar and I use it in all my clean recordings
