I'm 20 years old and I never learned to ride a bike for the constant fear of falling, but I'm now really ready to finally learn, since I wanna to idk, it looks fun go around the street in a bicycle, so that's how I found this video I hope I learn fast, well not fast but finally learn to (My mom tried to teach me when I was more young, but I never learned since the fear from falling;p)

I’m teaching my daughter, she’s having a hard time The fear of falling, I keep trying to reassure her She can always put her two feet down to stop herself The balance is the hard part but she’ll get there My pops taught me but he put on the bike no helmet Rolled me down a hill, I made it to the bottom And landed in a tree, it’s never too late to learn I know how to ride, what’s crazy is A lot of my Army buddies don’t know how to ride a bike weird really But not everybody, had a Dad, as a kid 🤣😂😅🤣😅

When I was 5 at my birthday, I got a bike and I was riding down hill with my mom and uncle by my side but they thought I had the hang of it so they pushed me down hill and I think you know what happened and that’s how I was scared of bikes for another few years even till 11

I remember learning it on my mum's big bike when I was 12 Days without progress and I was terrified One day we realised maybe it's just because the bike was too big as my feet were dangling way up unable to balance myself each and every time the bike tipped So we got a correct sized bike and voila, the same afternoon I was exploring the neighbourhood on my own

Man, I just rolled down a hill a few times I haven't been on a bike in 5 years (I was in training wheels at an unreasonable age) it was too tall, the front tire was almost flat and the chain was janky If I can do it so can you 👍 (it took me 3 days, bruised legs, sweat, tears, and almost blood)

I'm a sixteen year old who's never rode a bike before but my twin sister, she loves biking, and our step dad recently aired up the tires I wanted to go biking with her some day around town to see some places we've never really explored before since we don't get to bond too often, and this helps a lot!

Just wanna mention: you can't do the "one-foot-on-the-pedal-one-on-the-gear" on most mountain bikes (it's a mountain bike if it has multiple cogs stacked) that's because there's excess chain to accommodate all the different gears So if you try to do that, the chain will go slack, and the next few rotations on the pedals won't actually move the wheels, they'll just remove the slack off the chain

(slight rant btw sry) it’s like 23:00 and i’ve decided that on the weekend is gonna learn how to ride a bike i’m a teenager and haven’t learned bcs whenever my parents tried to teach me as a kid (literally only once 💀) i would cry bcs i was scared they yelled at me a lot and so i have some pretty bad memories associated with bikes the last time they tried (about a year ago) they just pushed me down a hill and told me to “do what feels right,” whatever that means i want to learn so i can feel less like an outsider and begin getting over some of my childhood trauma (not just the parts with bikes) thank you for listening to my story/ rant i hope you have a lovely day and wish you the best with your bike journey ❤️❤️❤️
