one of the funniest lines in this franchise came in the mystery part of this movie, when Simmons and Sam are going over all the "mysteriously deceased" space race era guys " car accident, car accident, car accident these guys can fly rockets into space but they cant drive"

What makes Dark of The Moon work is that not only is it a movie with action sci-fi elements combined with conspiracy theories, but as soon as plot flips, it can technically be considered a disaster movie (but with real bad guys, or robots) mixed in the plot that Driller glass building sequence already feels like it's for a disaster movie brbrI think the way DOTM presents itself is how the Bayverse should've bconsistently/b been/felt They put the "alien" in giant alien robots into an actual alien disaster movie, except we have Autobots to fight alongside us, making the alien conspiracy pay-off worth it
