I start buying the day after Christmas for the following year I’m also excessive in my gift giving I figure the more items I purchase for my grandchildren, the less money their parents have to spend Life is expensive and I want them to have an amazing holiday without them breaking the bank I ask that they pick 2 presents get labeled from me and the rest from their parents Their parents also purchase 4 gifts “from Santa” That way their friends aren’t jealous of what Santa brought them I know gifts aren’t everything, but there’s nothing more priceless than a child’s smile on Christmas day Those are the moments I treasure and it builds core memories they will have for a lifetime My mom and dad did the same for me and my siblings They are no longer with us, but I treasure the memories we made Comment from : @oknowIguess |

We don't do toys that have lights, noise, play themselves, have screens and generally not disney/pixar/bluey/paw patrol This may sound limiting but I have never seen a 35yr play independently so much We have a play couch that gets used everyday in some way so I am adding some more pieces to that to add to the creativity for Christmas We also have a yoto player that gets daily use so I am getting a few more cards for it We also love magnatiles, bristle blocks and anything with wheels and take apart toys We also homeschool so educational toys are a win too Comment from : @Jss766 |

I have three granddaughters, ages 1, 3 & 5, the one year old got that wooden climbing set for her first birthday recently, the ages recommended says 1-6, HOWEVER, its a little too much for the one year old right now (she just turn one) and the 5 year old is somewhat big for itbrShe climbs on it and it’s sturdy but in my opinion it’s more towards ages 25-45 year olds 5 is somewhat out growing that one Comment from : @tonyafromgeorgia3519 |

Something my mom did when I was a kiddo, was make christmas bread Banana, Pumpkin, Zucchini, and my favorite, Cranberry Orange we would have butter or cream cheese and eat that with coffee, tea or drink of choice our stockings usually always had similar things year to year Chocolate Coins and Coal, a candy cane stick, land o lakes hot chocolate, i always got hair ties and clips and bobby pins and a cd or dvd lol brbrNow that I am married and mom celebrates Christmas with Jesus now We are still forming traditions and I guess we have some Definitely adapted some from his and my side Like every year we go to the town parade like his family always has (we live in his town/state) we look at christmas lights like my mom always took us it was probably the only time her three kids didnt argue we do the bread WE ALWAYS put the tree up while BLARING christmas Songs My husband was raised Christian with no pagan influences so no santa bunny or halloween or trick or treating I was raised with santa but my mom told me at a very young age and my mom always thought how strange it was that I remained faithful in the "spirit" of Christmas!! so our dogs literally know Santa Paws!! and if you say it too loud Nevi Girl gets EXTRA excited!! lol Just like they know Birthday Means they are getting Cake!! 🎄🎄 for many years we went to cut a fresh tree It was so fun! Now I invested into a balsam hill tree so I can enjoy Christmas longer!
