A few people have mentioned that he is making a mistake by saying "millions instead of "thousands" If you look up financial reports of big companies like Amazon, google etc the figures are in millions So 1 is 1million and 1,000 is 1 billionbrbrHowever, the author should've explained this given that the target audience is beginners and they don't know that

So people make a mistake when they make confusion between REVENUE and net profit (or CASH and NET PROFIT) The good parameter to know if a business makes money is the NET PROFIT , isn't it ? Your example is excellent REVENUE $255 000 and NET PROFIT $7000 So the business doesn't make a lot of money
