I made one of the cheese graters years ago, for my older sister She had just remodeled her kitchen using the colors black and white, so I too used the same colors She loved it, and it remained as part of her kitchen, even when she moved to Tennessee She pasted away 4 years ago and her youngest daughter brought the cheese grater back to me, and she reminded me how much her mom loved it When I use my grater in my kitchen, grating cheese, or cabbage and carrots for cole slaw, I always think of my sister Love you and miss you Darlene!!!!! 💔💔💔

Instead of misting your tissue paper printout with a light varnish, can you use a mix of water and polycrilic or even straight polycrilic? Its liquid enough to put in a spray bottle

Holly, I loved this video 7 months ago and even more today! I’m 69 years old and when I grow up I hope I can craft half as good as you! You are simply amazing! Seriously, I just love how you explain how you create your amazing pieces of art! They always turn out to be just perfection! Love the details too When you added the twisted tail onto the side of the grater, I was like “that just made the whole project” I would never have thought of something like that! Loved the kitchen grater and how you were able to give it a cool aged patina I was lucky enough to find an already distressed one in a thrift store I shove some battery operated fairy lights in mine and it gives off a neat light effect thru the holes

Holly have you tried DIY paint or the DIY liquid patina it's amazing with decoupage paper Sammie at Unicorn Dust Designs carries all the DIY paints and papers and Rocycled papers I don't know that I will ever use modpodge again liquid patina is the way to go

I don’t know who sold you on that being a cake pan, that is definitely a pie pan! Cake pans have straight edges, pie pans have edges that flare out slightly! I love your decorations! Also love that you actually know how to talk without all the “ummms”
