I was wary of donating blood because of this issue but I'm really happy to know that the money is used responsibly I think non-profit organizations, like the Red Cross, are always the way to go I wonder when they pay you for plasma, how much do they charge the hospitals for it especially considering how they tell you the pay is $1000 a month for your plasma nowadays You guys should do a deep-dive into plasma selling and buying and how the poor often turn to selling plasma and are left with pockmarked scars and bruised, busted veins Not to mention, how the time between donations is every 2 days in a seven day period in the US is much shorter than other developed countries Or you can do a story on Nursing Staffing crisis and increasing patient ratio to one nurse, especially during covid that increases the risk for preventable medical errors, which is 3rd on the list, researched by John Hopkins, right next to stroke and heart diseasebrHealthcare, in general, is wonderful topic to focus on with covid going on
