Old School Runescape is the game equivalent to a warm cup of tea and a cozy blanket Its simple, but captivating One of my favorite lines in a review of rs3 critiquing the item belt, was "Even though going to the bank and getting your fishing rod and bait wasn't fishing, it was part of the EXPERIENCE of fishing"brbrThats what runescape is, its slow, but grounded, and delightfully nostalgic for those of us who grew up on it

Someone that asks that question I don’t have a response for other than you don’t know what it was like I had an almost all 99 account back in the day and alternated with a local friend I loved playing castle wars spending millions on runes and just completely dominating that shit I remember that desert duel place too pvp that was always so much fun with the poison dagger I don’t have time like that anymore but when I retire I’m definitely going back to rs full time

I’ve played off and on for 20 years I was there when EOC happened and I actually prefer it I’ve tried osrs a couple times and just get bored But I’m loving being back into rs3 Unpopular opinion I know but rs3 is vastly superior

If they only didnt rerelease the rares :/ And their were real rares besides 3rd age I might enjoy OSRS and bit more but having a partyhat to show off is still king in my book Plus once you learn abilities and such its pretty bad ass, people dont give it the chance because they want simple stupid instead of learning experienced combat methods

But now they are starting to do the same exact thing by starting out with a “new skill” pre eoc got summoning now we got sailing coming in I mean it’s only time before they do EOC 20 in a “POLL” the whole idea in the beginning was just to reintroduce Osrs in 2012-2013 with only Server updates and few quests/tweaks but now fast forward $5-8 mem’s now 1249 for the same sht only convenient thing is GE

I asked for it to play more like WOW but I was disappointed it just doesn't hit like OSRS Truth is bots are what stabilize this game and what makes it interesting you are either a player or a bot you cannot do both and that is what is unique

Nah The Problem was the Community Limited trade was the awnser to to much scamming, they removed PvP because of luring brbrThey did nothing for No reasonbrbrBut im thankfull, the RS3 Community went nice and quite friendly again

I think one of the only reasons people play RS3 anymore is to make money for bonds, because it's maybe 1/10th the amount of time required to earn a bond in RS3 than OSRS due to the insane price of a bond now and since they just upped the cost of one by a dollar the GP price will just keep increasing

Literally every game would be the funnest thing ever if they copied osrs Imagine a halo mmorpg split up between humans and the covenant You start off as a marine or a grunt and end game is master chief or the arbiter You could progress with jackals, brutes, ODST characters etc the osrs formula works for anything!
