I have some bronze/brass medallion type coins celebrating various things The person I bought them said they were in safe modern flips But I see some green tone residue on many Is it the type of metalor less-than safe flips causing this? Any replies would be appreciated?

Yes, I found out the hard way, some of my coins did turn green The book was very nice, but it caused problems I found out too late The coins were of value too What do you suggest to do??

I use medical grade xylene it takes care of a lot of different plastic marks on coins it has to be "medical" grade xylene home depot xylene will not work

What about storing those kind of coins in old Whitman albums I´ve got a green folder (Copyright 1958) with a very similar collection of Walkers Any disadvantages ?

Thanks for the vid, Keith I knew certain plastics were bad, but knowing that PVC is bad helps a lot I am about to make my first flips purchase Now I know to make sure they are not PVC

I have 3 Canadian 1/2 dollars and they were black with dirt, so i lined a bowel with tin foil and put a cup of hot water and a tbs of liquid laundry soap and put the coins in it and they came out clean with a little rub with paper towl
