Be careful selling short Your loss potential is unlimited Buying stock, your loss is limited to your investment amount With no ceiling to the stock price and because you have to buy the stock to reverse your position, no limit to your exposure to the debt That being said, there is negative real value and should fail miserably, but stuff happens WATCH OUT, you are gambling, and they will come for EVERYTHING you have and a cut of ALL future earnings

This taught me a lot about short selling, especially about the fees and margin associated with the strategy The forced position closure and pressure from the broker's side also seems risky toobrBut the infinite potential loss feels kind of biased and gaslighting imo Just a single stop loss and proper risk management would solve this Explaining the severe hypothetical risks without mentioning that there are factual ways of resolving themfeels intentional on the content creators partbrBut thanks anyway for explaining short selling 🙏🙏🙏

Do not short It’s one of the only trading strategies in which you can lose more money than you put in Exceptionally dangerous for investors with no monetary weight in the Market Take put options instead While still being risky, they are much much safer than shorting
