Sure Bitcoin has value because people give it value like any other form of currency Like any other form of currency it can also lose value IE Who wants a Ruble right now However all forms of currency whether it's a dollar a gold coin or in case of some catastrophe a loaf of bread or a gallon of water have a physical presence, You can hold them put them in a bag or your pocket If faced with a power failure (even short term) you would have a password in your head and that's it I know Bitcoin has value but is it safe? My bank account may not be any safer than Bitcoin However it is FDIC insured

gold almost does not corrode it doesnt easily react to other elements which makes it valuable I know my gold watch will withstand the test of time on top of that, it is rare On the otherhand, I dont see any value for bitcoin
