Another major fact If you borrow from America, you might have to pay it back If you borrow from China, you can always just ignore them They can't project power even into next-door Vietnam If you can't be sure you can pay the loan back, China is easier to cheat

When you don't care about securitiescorruption a lot of developed countries will take your money brBut when it's time to pay back most of those loans had to be spread, delayed or restructured because they were bad loans in the first place

IMF funds always come with restructuring to fix the problems that created the demand for the loan Wheather that be corruption or whatever Chinas loans didn't come with that hook so nations who didn't want change in their partly broken system jumped on them
