Hello Joe Appreciate the video Do you have any idea why ion and all the big names say their auger can only be used with their electric power units? I’m looking at a strike master auger to put on my Milwaukee 2904 with the clam power drive That should be way more than enough torque to power a 10 inch strike master auger don’t you think?

Obviously lots of "best" combo drill/auger out there I don't drill a lot of holes so speed means nothing to me Guys say about many seconds faster their drill isLOL so you drill 10 holes and save 5 or 10 seconds a hole So in a days fishing you save a whole minute or drilll 20 holes AND SAVE 2 MINUTEShilarious

Just be careful without any kind of foam float or disc… if that auger unchucks from that drill its gone! Trust me I know from experience

I have the Eskimo F1 rocket gas auger and it only weighs 22 pounds but that would be a great backup auger lots of good ice in central Ontario this year

Crazy ya just posted this after I was scouring the web for vids of the 10" Ion G2 powered by a drill a week ago I ended up getting 1 ordered to pair up with my mud mixer a few days ago Now I have to decide whether to keep my 8" liteflite The 85 kdrill just isn't big enough plus it's a battery killer, can't believe how hard it turns However, gotta keep it around for our dirty sand blown lakes Thanks for the video Joe!
