thanks for the awesome explanation - i do have a question - i have two money plants - one is growing well (has not been repotted) but the one the was repotted shows some brown coloring (probably needs water) but the leaves are growing thin (or young leaves) - i have kept them on either side of fire place(not used) but get indirect sunlight from sun roof windows and large windows in the living room ( west side - afternoon sun) - any tips - appreciated

Water left in the bottom won’t just evaporate out It will mostly be soaked up through the bottom of the pot through osmosis It’s a great way to water dry soils which can become hydrophobic

I’m so confused Mine was doing so well until it wasn’t:( I don’t know how but half of the leaves fell off and some are still growing but some are not even sprouting off the branches anymore :(

one thing not mentioned about yellow leaves: sometimes the older leaves (on stems toward the bottom of the plant) will turn yellow, which is fine

I just got a little one, its so pretty! I unbraided it cuz I didnt think it wanted to be that way so I hope that is OK to do Its in the tiniest pot but no roots are showing yet gonna find a pretty pot for it Ive got 5 plants that were all half dead and half price at grocery store and they are all doing fine This one was half price too but not suffering can hardly wait for them to be a tree! nice video, TY
