You don't have to have every trophy in your cabinet, but you need to have a very good attempt at winning one at least KDB, as great a player as he is, will always be slightly below that top tier for me because of how he couldn't translate his ability and form to his NT He has never had an elite competition performance, let alone a GOAT level one, and that hurts his case when you compare to the Zidanes, Xavis, Modrics, etc Proof of this is in the case of the player who was the best playmaker of his decade, Michael Laudrup Laudrup was essentially the classier, although less-all round version of KDB, and was considered one of the greats when he played But he gets underrated a lot because he couldn't really perform for his NT Same with Scholes, Lampard and Gerrard for England All game changers in their respective clubs and leagues and even CLs but underperformed with NT and therefore got a hit on their legacy
