I've been using the Arccos system for a couple of years but will be giving it up this coming golf season due to the subscription cost It's currently $15588 per year and here in the Northeast USA we only play golf for about 6 months out of the year That means for 12 months worth of golf you're paying over $300 for their subscription For the cost of the V5 you get a golf watch plus lots of statistics with no added subscription Seems like a great value and can't wait to try out the V5

handhelds are superior to watches the screen is bigger and you don't have to wear it on your body good examples are the Bushnell phantom 3 and Garmin g30

I had a H4 handheld and it was great tool I had issues with yardage on one hole at my local club, contacted their support team and they had a fix within a day! Amazing!

i have been using Garmin for about 10yrs or more, i am using the S70 which does cost a bit so far i believe the graphics is up with Apple watches but from what i just watched the software on the Shot Scope is better than the Garmin S70 i am going to look into the Shot Scope rob

I had the v3 love it moved up to the V5 it's great one minor problem for me is it's not bright enough and there is no brightness adjustment

I'm a huge fan of shotscope, I've been using them for years V2 being my 1st one I recently bought the V5 but have found it missing a LOT of my shots in the 3 rounds I've played I'm talking 7-10 missed shots Very frustrating and disappointed with it so far Battery is ok but not sure it would last a full 2 rounds

wait did you ever mention battery life? I know their site says it will last 2 rounds of golf using gps but nothing about total life like when using it just as a watch Also have you guys reviewed the garmin Z82 that looks really interesting
