It's been a little while since I've done one of these challenge videos, would like to see a car boot one in the future too? Would appreciate all your support on this one! Having some computer issues atm which has slowed videos down a little, but should be back on track now with another video next Sunday! Comment from : @EdChapman23 |

I've not watched this to the end but anyone "obsessed" with table tennis (like myself) will go what on earth is this brand, Stiga, Coolant, Butterfly and Tibar are much more well known, the odds are the rubbers if it actually has any rather than being plastic is awful Sorry if that's a little too deep (Currently 14:30 in and genuinely hoping you make money) Comment from : @travisfoster4161 |
You’ve not been to Islamic Relief, mostly Asian high brand with tags designer clothes but sometimes there’s original brand new Gucci PRADA bags shoes and I do buy lot from this shop and sell and really makes good profit like £6 full Khaadi suit and sell for minimum £25 and some £3 shirts sell for £20, sometimes I find Nike bags and sell for £20/40 and bought price £2/£5 Comment from : @ameenajaan1 |
can you do gainsborough next Comment from : @lennybailey-u4h |
If youd have researched what each item had sold for previously on ebay you wouldnt have bought any of these items Comment from : @ZiggySTARDUST72 |
I'm seeing 2nd hand claranets selling on ebay for £30-£150 They can be cleaned with solvents and pipe cleaners so it's not as unhygienic as you think Comment from : @CalebAble |
If David Brent had a YouTube channel Also, if you're sucking your clarinet, you're clarinetting wrong 😂 Comment from : @TraineeTeacherSupport |

I work in a Charity shop!! City hospice Cardiff ❤️ brSome staff in some shops are paid, not volunteers, they get new items from warehouses so their stuff is more expensive BHF are one of them brWe don't know what we are given so it's super fun searching online for things I do wish people would wash things first though 😂 Comment from : @laula-8765 |
PDSA is a national charity Comment from : @Tom_murray89 |
My mum volunteers in our local charity shop Twice a year, it does everything and I mean EVERYTHING (aside from like massive tea sets) for 50p They do this to get rid of their summer/winter stock before putting the alterative season collection out Just recently, a guy came in and bought 50 pairs of kids shoes for £25 and sent them over to Uganda or something Comment from : @doylethechocolatelab |
“Series” not bloody season! Comment from : @redmille1000 |
You want a non chain charitybrA stand alone one off They are always super cheap Comment from : @ChelseaMLarkin |
All main charity shops sell all their good stuff online now, they seemed to have people who know what things are worth The shops themselves are over expensive and have seen items that are cheaper buying new from a retailer Comment from : @bullet-catcherhohoho250 |
I buy DVDsbrDVDs are way better than streaming Pay one price, and can watch however many times I likebrNo censoring, or things edited out Comment from : @RyanBromhead503 |
🤣spent £28 made £27 had me crying Comment from : @ArlieEdis |
Mate, sorry to tell you, but that Inbetweeners boxset goes for about 50p in most charity shops You overpaid on that one, and I'll be surprised if you make a profit on it Same with the Friends discbrbr'Don't turn your nose up at 90p profit' is sound advice, though Comment from : @PedroBenolielBonito |
2:37 probably were real signatures My best find ever in a charity shop (which I wish I had not let go at cost value of £2) was a Cast and Crew exclusive Blu-Ray of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, still shrink-wrapped and with a thank you card attached For TWO QUID In a CHARITY SHOP Yes, really Comment from : @PedroBenolielBonito |
OMG am i the only one who sees David Brent in this guy?!? Comment from : @NE-Mediainc |
I've noticed that branded stuff does well on Vinted initially but a lot of the time it's a waiting game so there isn't an instant reward for selling Comment from : @jennifercarss |
imagine donating a signed shirt and it ends up being sold for £3 (if it was genuine) Comment from : @LeeThorpe-t1e |
Should have gone street lane and moortown corner charity shops Comment from : @charlotsart |
You can haggle in a charity shop, I’ve seen it done Comment from : @jessieb7290 |
DVDs are also still the top selling physical media for film/tv and with the rise of media being removed from streaming (licences etc), DVDs, Blurays and 4KUHD releases are becoming once again popular as it may be the only way of viewing it Comment from : @Markso14 |
Great video Ed 🎉it’s definitely not easy is it… This is my life haha Comment from : @Ecoreseller |
I want to know what the signatures on the England shirt were Lol Comment from : @LV_86 |
youd end up spending more on shipping Comment from : @vypurs |
Next video should be on car boot sales Comment from : @birdieasmr1 |
2:55 should have got that star wars always sells Comment from : @cal-efc8062 |
You joked about the clarinet but if it was in good nick you could've sold that for a good £50/£60, musical instruments are expensive and it's not unusual for people to buy second hand You can always clean them! Comment from : @ViolentMoth |
Seriously you couldn't have bought any worse dvds to resell! 😂 As a mostly dvd reseller who makes at least £500 profit a month on eBay this was diabolical! 😂 Comment from : @skinlesswalnut6259 |
Ed you are legitimately thick Comment from : @15dollardietcoke |
Remember: you need to speculate to accumulate! If you visit charity shops in more 'affluent' areas, you often find better brand names for re-sale Interesting video Comment from : @PlanesTrainsEverything |
I'll give you £500 for the Harvard top! Comment from : @simondavies109 |
Charity shops are a rip off now there so expensive Comment from : @martinquinn9007 |
My Mother in Law actually makes a living doing this Buys clothes cheap at shops and car boots and upsells on eBay I was shocked that U could live off the profit Her house looks like a hoarders though, that's a big downside! Comment from : @claireberesford2307 |
Find the dumb people said the chap that bought the tat Comment from : @borgin2174 |

It's been a while since I watched any ed videos have I missed something while I have been away when did ed turn into the love child of MC grinder and David brent Comment from : @barrylongworth4345 |
I feel you missed a trick here! Some items can be found in a charity shop or a car boot! Also location helps ☺️ Comment from : @andrewgarrett6645 |
I tried this myself as a side hustle Picked up women’s clothing from brands like Laura Ashley, Next and Marks & Spencer I did sell a few but the time it took to procure, iron, photograph, list and ship (including packaging cost) I was at a loss I gave it a bloody good go though But yeah, not really doable these days sadly Comment from : @WheezyCatLady |
DVD's are making somewhat of a comeback They've actually been the number one form of physical media sold for years now They still, to this day, outsell Blu Ray and 4K UHD I think a big reason for this is because most people don't care about quality, they just want to own their content physically And now what we're seeing as the age of streaming has gotten so bad and expensive and worse, that DVD's and Blu Ray's are making a comeback as a result And when you can get like 10 movies or tv shows for just a few quid it's a no brainer for a lot of people Comment from : @DreadfulUtopia |
Seen an old guy in a charity shop recently and he asked for a discount as he was broke but the charity shop said no to him Crazy as he was in need of charity! Comment from : @EoinFe |
It so sad Growing up most of my stuff came from charity shops because I grew up in a single parent household and my mum had cancer so couldn't work brbrThe charity shop was the only place we could afford I have no idea what we would do now Charity shops are so expensive now but their main customer base seems to be re-sellers these days so I see why It just sucks for low income families Comment from : @daisywilson8735 |
If you donate the profits back to the charity shop PLEASE make sure you get a till receipt and not a scribbled note, like I got from a charity shop I donated £100 cash to I had a really bad feeling after I left the shop Donate online with a paper trail Comment from : @VMM34 |
This is literally what I do for a living 😶🌫️💪🏼 Comment from : @RickyResells |
You remind me so much of Mark Goldbridge, it’s insane 😮 Comment from : @Sunnyautumn07 |

My local recycling centre 'the tip' has a shop and thats the best bargains ive found by a long way, theyre even up for a haggle Comment from : @Martinpugh1986 |
They are onto the 'vinted' culture so have hiked the prices accordingly Comment from : @Martinpugh1986 |
You’d have to pay someone to take those dvds 🤣 literally worthless Comment from : @step9624 |
i once bought a huge tub of comic books for £20, knew nothing of them but thought have to be worth it Sold some and made nearly £400 One was worth nearly £200 The rest of the things I have sold was only like £20-£30 profit Comment from : @bebeinjapan7434 |

I'll give you £110 for the LBU hoodie Comment from : @baby_joe |
Charity are cons most of the money goes to the manger's and the up the ladders not much goes to the charity it self i used work for one i quit because I didn't agree what i found out Comment from : @michaelball3250 |
Ed’s advice: “You have to rely on idiots to make money”… proceeds to buy DVDs 😭 I think the charity shops must have been following your advice 😝😝 Comment from : @MarkN65 |
There was 8 Harry potters films as last one had 2 parts and not 6 as you stated but loved the video Comment from : @Jasonrichardson1609 |
clarinet for two bloody quid are you mental, proper cashback on that no doubt! Comment from : @shornoMALONEY |
great video but a waste of time listing any of that on eBay a proper seller that does it as there job would not buy and of the stuff you bought but it was a good try Comment from : @Lisa-cj8cu |
you should never buy stuff for sake of buying you would never make any money as a reseller doing that and I do this as my job Comment from : @Lisa-cj8cu |

Yeh it’s a shame how expensive charity shops have become, you should try like the same concept but with carboots, markets and jumble sales might be worth a try?🫢🤔 4:38 you missed Scope 😂 Comment from : @MikeSlater226 |
Chemo cash back! 😂 😂 😂 Comment from : @ScottJBR |
Your problem is postage charges A £4 DVD to a customer becomes £7 after adding postage It's almost like paying double What you need to do is buy higher value stuff so that a postage charge seems negligible ie a pair of Vans footwear priced at £40 - £45 with a £3 - £5 postage charge Comment from : @judewilson927 |
