Another trick for the reverse effect If you put dollars into a soda vending machine and push coin return you can get quarters back on return Also most soda machines, say If you don’t like the quarters you got, put them back in and hit the coin return most likely you’ll get all different quarters back Obviously all machines are different I do this at work to cycle out all the newer quarters for error hunting 😂

Depends on the store and area In Canada some of the self checkout machines I have seen don’t give bills in return If you pay with a $20 bill for $1 you get $19 in coins We also have 1 and 2 dollar coins and no 1 or 2 dollar bills brbr1 store by me the total was $505 and I put in a $20 bill and 5¢ coin for a total of $2005 I got $15 worth of $1 and 2$ coins instead of a $10 and a $5
