This is a great video and I loved it! What I find frustrating is that all the channel with this topic still triggers me to shop, as you are dressed very well, and it seems your house is very aesthetic as well It looks like you are shopping, so it make me confused in some ways Anyone feels the same? Comment from : @Cathrelationships |

when you said the ubers I was girl omg yes yes the wayyyy we spend when we don’t plan too lazy to pack a lunch now somehow you’ve spent like $50 in the week just eating out for lunch 😭 Comment from : @gingrbean |

I need to have a no spend year I am an over spender for sure! Comment from : @Loulouluxury |

I feel that it's a lot easier to have alternating no buy months instead of a whole no buy year - I'm currently doing a no buy/low buy alternating month practice, like no buy Feb, Low buy March, No buy April so on Some ideas for people trying out the challenge and good luck to everyone doing the challenge! Already cannot be a part of if because i am in it, because I spend 0 on clothing and 0 on experiences Our monthly income with my husband is 600 euros and we spend 50 on food and 50 on other things needed at home and medication, products and comunal services(it gets very high in winter because we live near Ukraine war and gas is very expensive)😢 i am chronically ill and my husband is the one who provides I am already minimalist but when we had more money and things were not that expensive, i could buy something for myself and that made me feel better Now we cannot even eat out😢 we have to not eat a lot of food we like because it is expensive We have to even be minimalist with home food Quite sad Comment from : @Marciusha |

I honestly think people with money should always choose to support small and ethical businesses and the cultural field, instead of overshopping or just hoarding their money on their bank accs Not all spending is bad Comment from : @Eov93 |
|
It’s so inspiring what you did Thanks for sharing it Comment from : @agneshernandez8465 |

I think others really should do the 1 yr, but just as you do hereassess at close of year the personal pros and cons, so that 2nd year can be self aware "balance" experiment Lightening up slightly to achieve better balance Kudos to you for making it thru, learning more about yourself and for making this vid which is smart, articulate and terrifically inspiring! Yay 🎉🎉🎉 Comment from : @raffila |

I hope this doesn't come off in a negative way but 100 pounds a month for clothes in a "no spend" year is INSANE (Sorry if that sounds judgy, I don't mean it like that <3) Loved the video!! Comment from : @oriannasmom |

I don’t do takeout very much but the other day I went to the doctor I didn’t feel like going home and cooking so I went and got a salad It was almost $20 for a salad at takeout I said never again never will I do takeout that $20 could’ve gone to a bill to pay it off so if you add up all the $20 you spend, you could probably pay rent with it So no spend for me on takeout I also am going to cut back on grocery shopping because I find out I buy when I’m hungry and most of the stuff I buy I don’t eat so that’s biting to be cut back as far as buying clothes or home things I don’t do that kind of shopping if I can’t use what I got I don’t need itI find out the older I get the less I need because my kids and I do not have the same taste and I’m sure they don’t want anything I buy❤❤❤❤ Comment from : @bitsybarkley |

I will be putting up boundaries for the first time in 2025, I felt so broke & miserable in 2024- incurred unnecessary debts, with 2 kids, mortgage & car payments I definitely need a change and extra streams of incomeWill definitely subscribe for motivation through the year❤ Comment from : @kingdomchild8487 |
|
Loved this take on a no buy challenge Definitely going to take a "low" buy approach for 2025 Comment from : @xoxoxlittlej |
|
I’m not on an official no spend challenge but I do find that I have a similar unhealthy attitude about spending I’m so scared to part with my money because I’m constantly worried about the economy, the fact that jobs are never stable/guaranteed My goal is when I reach age 50, I will not need to work (full time) anymore I’m 24 I’m still pretty new to the working adult world I’m also looking to pivot from my current role into something that’s more aligned with my strengths and interests brbrI love traveling (and food) I am trying to clean out my closet I am so annoyed when I keep getting gifted clothes! 😂 In 2025, I am headed into a big surgery to help correct my spine so I can travel with little to no more pain! So I’ve been saving primarily for my health, emergencies, everyday expenses, and future travel brbrI’m happy to hear about the lessons you’ve learned from your no spend challenge and glad to see your growth! Comment from : @malhalsey4994 |
