We used to go detecting at a spot that had Chinese cash coins all through the water! and apparently before they ever went swimming they threw in a coin as a offering to the river ❤

what helps in looking down through shallow water is a bucket with the bottom cut out, replaced with a good quality acrylic glued from inside lets you see several feet down, and with the acrylic covered by cloth, the bucket is still useful as a bucket
