Lived in colonial heights most of my life, as has my wife We have had our property stolen counless times U cant put a bike down for 5 mins without it getting stolen We have had two break ins Two vehicles vandalized Mugged once We had one pet shot and another thrown on a grill I could go on and on We moved to petersburg about 5 years ago Havent had a single incident Not one! Never been happier in a home or felt safer than we do here

I stopped in emporia on the way to South Carolina for some gas and food and I thought the name sounded cool but I got there and immediately didn’t wanna be there anymorebrbrI also went to Danville for a job interview and got there very very early and there were no hotels so I said screw the job interview and drove to Roanoke instead

The southwest side of VA is incredibly poor, once the mining dried up there were no jobs and it ruined that part of the state financially Though I must argue that Norfolk is the worst city in the state, having experienced both many times I hate it far more than Danville
