I recently purchased a 2025 Chevy trax from my local dealership they asked me how much down I have for a car I was desperate and told them I had 8k down they approved me but my interest rate is 2160 percent for 72 months they told me that until they gave me my keys before leaving the dealer now I’m not happy with my 25k car and want something better my payments are $540 monthly and I’m currently paying off my credit cards my credit score was 490 at the time I bought the car 6 months ago and now it’s around 620 and also I hired a fico consultant and some collections have been removed from my credit reports what will you recommend do so I can trade in my car in the summer of this year I don’t really want to refinance the car it’s not what I want to keep for the next 6 years

Inaccurate info here The payment posted date is not the same as the reported date (to the credit bureau) Use something like Credit Karma to determine when your data is reported

Okay my wife and I are senior citizens ages 66 and 65 We are on fixed incomes Together we pull 2400 We need a car so we went to our local used car dealer We both have no credit This deal is offered we haven't signed anything yet We got approved for a 2017 Nissan Murano with 185000 miles on it The sticker on the car is 9995 They're asking for 1300 down The rate that they came up with is 37367 for 54 months Full coverage insurance to drive it off the lot requires 460 along with the 1300 due at signing To complete the cost of the insurance 129 is to be added to the 37367 I haven't gotten any details on the warranty but they mentioned that it had possibly been figured in already So far is it sounding fair with us who have no credit?

why should people be happy having to buy their credit? why should people be happy to accept paying 20 interest That is robbery and it should be illegal How does it make sense to charge people with less money 10 times the interest that somebody with loads of money will pay? Banks are taking advantage of people by doing that The whole credit beurow thing is designed to screw over people who are struggling to live and you are ok with this Banks should be able to lend people money based off of the amount of money they earn and they should not be charging people different rates based off of what those credit beuroghs are telling them They should not have the right to monitor and judge peoples finances like they do I have never missed a payment and my credit score is still low due to them telling me that I have spent too much on credit What do they care as long as I keep making my payments But they wont give me a loan to consolidate my payments even and I only qualify for loans that charge me 150 interest rates now even though I have not had a late payment in 10 years The whole system is designed to extract tons of money from the people who need to borrow the money the most And good luck getting them to remove things from your credit that is even yours Not even with a lawyer will they do it They have no problem believing the lenders but could care less if that information is correct or not and they will make it impossible for you to live your life because that's how they are able to charge you higher interest rates By making sure your credit score is low I cant wait for this bullshit economy to crash because it is definitely going to crash in the near future and these banks will all be out of business once that happens I wouldn't want to be those bankers on that day because the people will be hunting them down one by one when they cant get their money back

If you want to fix your credit score, get a cheap motorcycle or scooter for 3-5k on a short high interest loan! It will allow you to get around, insurance, gas and maintenance will be cheap, and you'll have completely fixed your credit in no time! Hi Lucky, thanks for the content I really wish all dealers are as transparent as you are I am in California looking for an EV to run weekday errands (as a parent) but so many dealerships are not registered to the IRS for the Clean Air Vehicle Tax Credit program As of the beginning of 2024, the IRS requires the dealership to report the sales to be qualified for the tax credit, and if the dealership and the customer want the customer can give the tax credit to the dealer so that the dealer gets paid by the IRS in 72 hours Do you know why all dealerships are NOT jumping to register? This process seems really easy I know the demand for used EVs is not there but if dealers have them in their inventory and try to get rid of them, this program can help them to sell as long as they keep the cost below $25k It is so shocking to me how many dealers are not bothered to participate and leave out as much as $4k which gives more room for profit at sale and customers getting for less than the market value resulting in both parties win-win
