Pete, you gave me the best delayed error correction activity years ago that I use all the time You choose 8/10 errors from a class and give every student a copy of the errors with 4/5 corrections The students write the correction to the 4/5 they don't have and check with a partner The idea is to use metalanguage and analysis to help their partner get the correct answer My students always appreciate this activity (even if they don't like it)
