I actually stack only gold maples, and I have more silver maples than any other silver When I first started stacking around 2006 I had this weird idea that the US had confiscated gold in the past, and therefore I should not buy US eagles or buffalos in case they were somehow more trackable! If I were starting today I'd almost certainly stack buffalos, but since I started with Canadian maples I see no reason to change There's certainly nothing wrong with them, slightly cheaper to buy and to sell than US mint bullion, so it's a wash Silver is awkward because the premiums are and have always been high, but I have some ASEs, some maples, some 10 oz bars that I'd probably sell on a price spike, and a whole lotta US 90 junk silver Comment from : @ultimore
