Another place worth visiting if anyone should ever come to visit the city of Hereford, is the Conningsby Hospital and Museum with the ruins of Blackfriars Priory behind it in Widemarsh street (opposite Wickes DIY) There is a 14th century preaching cross here which is a grade 2 sheduled monument I think this museum and priory is often overlooked, but definitely worth a visit

As somebody who has lived in Hereford for over half of my life, I can say it is nice here, only thing is properties are very overpriced - my mum and dad want a new house but can afford it

Having spent 12 months at RAF Hereford as a boy apprentice 1970/71 I really enjoyed my time there, but haven’t revisited since, this I plan on sorting this year in my motorhome I’m sure it hasn’t changed! 😂
