***** $5 dollarsbrGood stuff Think I'll put this one in my media collectionbrAs I've said before, we're heading into another serious recession, as we do every 8 years or so Now is the time to configure your finances to weather the storm Dump any real estate or stock market assets you may own, payoff debt, buy silver and bitcoins and you should do well brI'm farther along in my life cycle than most bitcoin people so I've had time to accumulate assets outside of bitcoin or the computer industry It's kind of sad that so many guys like me are going to have their ass handed to them when this next economic shit storm hits I've seen this before though, 4 times to be exact Early 80's, early 90's, the dot com crash of 2000, and the meltdown of 2008 Now it's time for the next one Batten down the hatches my friends brIn my case I'm selling my paid off rental condo and I should get a check for 91k next month That money is going straight into the mortgage on my house I'll have to tolerate the collapsing value of my house over the next few years but it should recover it's value toward the end of the next cycle My surplus income will go into silver and bitcoins over the next couple years During the worst of the recession silver should increase dramatically in price (last time around it went up 270) I'll have to switch to buying gold after a while since the space in the bank box is limited Last time around gold went up only 70, so you get a bigger bang for your buck with silver brBitcoins are less certain than silver but they have the potential to increase in value dramatically more, potentially a life changing sum that could bring about an early retirement brIf things get really bad, much worse than 2008, there's a danger the feds could seize my bank box but if that happens (as it did in 1933) they'll pay for it with printed money, which I can dump into the mortgage And if that happens, trust in government will collapse (world wide), giving bitcoins a boost (much like what happened after Cyprus did their bail-in) and projects like Open Bazaar should get a huge boost as well I should gain far more in that event than I would lose in silver But if bitcoins have a disaster, my silver should more than make up for the loss in 3 or 4 years brDisclaimer: I'm a Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic, not a financial adviser, so don't blame me if I'm wrong But let me just whisper in your ear, "Psst, I'm not wrong"
