95-100k after working a large amount of overtime Hourly wage maybe $30-35 after 10 years… 24hr shifts Rotating shifts… It’s really not a bad career… but if these things don’t appeal to u, definitely not the career for u I’d say to hit that 100k a year… you will need to work on average 3-4 24hr shifts a week

Norfolk , Va In house Fire academy is 40 hrs a week,lasting nearly 9 months, the city does pay you while in academy Once your at a fire station an AEMT/ fire fighter starts out at $18 hr base pay
