I am a native of Nevada so I would love to have one of those Nevada silver rounds! That image on the obverse is the "original" state seal of Nevada with the smoke plumes going in opposite directions The seal was changed in the 1920's so that both smoke plumes float off in the same direction - rare to see the original Nevada state seal Great old piece!

They tell stories So many people refuse to buy them, because they are soooooo stuck on Eagles, Maples, Krugs, etc And they are important Stacking is also a hobby, and if you don't approach it from that standpoint, you will eventually tire of it, and just be a bean counter The Rt66 round was put out by APMEX, and was the first in a series they ran Go to APMEX , silver and click Icons of Route 66, and see what the complete set is selling for So many silver channels on youtube now, you have to sort through the garbage Only about a dozen that you can truly trust for good info You are one of those Back in the day, that was all you could buy at the coin shops I still have a lot of those old bars and rounds They are part of the "Family"
