Don't forget the rims, they grade the rims for nicks and dings as well Grades looked pretty accurate, a 67 is a very nice find Love Ikes, appreciate the video

The 67 in the PCGS holder is a stunner! It looked to me like one of NGC 65s was not better than the 64 All the Ikes looked to be in late die stage, indicated by the heavy metal flow likes None were a Friendly Eagle No 1971D peg legs Check the MM for RPM - that could up the value of the 64-66s, albeit to a very narrow market

Getting clean, high-drade 71-D Ike's are WAY easier than getting high-grade 1971 Philly mint ones

I have a few D Eisenhower half dollars and they sound like silver but my understanding is they aren’t lol

I agree with all the grades from both TPG, the difference between the MS67 vs MS66 are the hairlines on Ikes device (face, cheek )

pre strike planchet marks are what those so called contact marks that you assessed I believe

None of the NGC Ikes looked better than MS-63 to me They had way too many nicks and marks on the head/neck/eagle The PCGS Ike was definitely an MS-67 Looks to me that NGC is liberal with grading Ikes

I got one on Ebay listed as true PQ but it's a 78-D I'd be willing to bet that(and ,maybe it's due to the amazing toning) that mine can make 65-66

What i see on the surface of a coin is Fishers from the metal moving which I could see why somebody would think they were contact marks In forgeing they're called cold shuts Hope that helps
